The goal of this course is to examine various aspects chemistry, biology, physics and Earth sciences, and to introduce the student to scientific thinking and experimentation. Due to the fact that this is an intensive course, it is important that students focus intently on all dialog in class, it is also imperative that the students complete any homework and review the material daily in order to understand the concepts discussed. Absenteeism, inattentiveness and a poor work ethic will result in difficulty with the course material.
